Yes, you read that right...Tyler won a wrestling match this weekend and wouldn't you know it, I forgot to put the memory card in the camera so we didn't get a picture of him!
He was so proud! Not only did he win, but he pinned the little guy. Unfortunately, his next two matches ended with tears, but he still got back up and stuck with it which is what really matters and this week he got third place in his bracket. One spot better than his first tourney. I think seeing him upset was the hardest part. I just wanted to run out on the mat, grab him and take him home.
Not to leave Emmy out...she had an awesome game on Saturday. We started a new session of soccer and she got on the team she really wanted with 3 girls from her outdoor team. She did especially well on defense which is not usually her strong point.
Next weekend we add basketball to the mix, so I'll have more to report!
